The State Targeted Response (STR) Technical Assistance (TA) Consortium was created to support your efforts in addressing opioid use disorder prevention, treatment, and recovery. This project, funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), will help communities locally address the opioid and stimulant public health epidemic. The STR-TA team stands ready to assist you!

Mission

To provide training and technical assistance to enhance prevention, treatment (especially medications to treat opioid use disorders like buprenorphine, naltrexone, and methadone), and recovery efforts across the country.

Goal

To be responsive to meet local needs by providing training and TA on evidence-based practices in the prevention, treatment, and recovery of opioid and stimulant use disorders through experienced local prescribers and clinicians. This effort has been designed as a locally tailored and locally-driven approach to TA delivery.
