Dr. Willams Mejía Chávez joins the Universidad Central del Caribe to coordinate the Office of Faculty Development.
Dr. Mejía possesses a doctoral degree in Education and a Master in Post-secondary Education from the Universidad Nacional de San Marcos, Perú. His solid background in education and experiences with various digital learning management platforms as well as distance education applications will serve the university well in the accomplishment of our mission and goals. He is interested in the neuroscience of learning, academic self-efficacy, and the study of language.
Dr. Mejía has an affable personality, he is approachable and is a good communicator. We welcome him with great enthusiasm to join the team of Academic Affairs.
