Members of Dr. Martinez-Montemayor’s laboratory will attend the 2017 ASCB Annual Meeting which will be held December 2-7, 2017 in Philadelphia. Ms. Gabriela Ortiz and Tiffany Rios (graduate students), Ms. Ariana Acevedo (undergraduate student – UPR Bayamon), Ricardo Vallejo (UCC MED II), Dr. Ivette Suarez (postdoctoral fellow) and Dr. Martinez (PI) have all successfully secured awards from the ASCB Minority Affairs Committee to attend the ASCB Annual Meeting. All of them will be presenting their research at this venue. This is the second time (two years in a row) that the members of this lab and her advisor have been successful in securing the awards.
