The Universidad Central del Caribe Celebrates its 40th Diploma Ceremony

Students, family, faculty, and employees of the Universidad Central del Caribe (UCC) proudly celebrated the University’s 40th Commencement Ceremony. During the event, a total of 193 students were presented with their academic degrees as health professionals, of which 67 students received degrees in Doctor in Medicine, and 126 students, coming from the Bachelor’s and Associate Degree in Medical Images Programs, received their degrees in their respective specialties: Master’s in Health Sciences in Substance Abuse Counseling and Master’s in Biomedical Sciences.

New CPR Guidelines

The American Heart Association (AHA) recently published new guidelines for basic and advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation (G2010) for adults, children and infants. The G2010 guidelines represent the largest revision in medicine based on resuscitation evidence to date.

Doctors Leave Legacy to Future Generations

Graduates of the School of Medicine of the Universidad Central del Caribe (UCC), the President and Dean of Medicine, Dr. Jose Ginel Rodriguez, Trustees, Deans, and faculty members, celebrated Philanthropy Month by leaving a legacy to future generations.

UCC obtains Approval of Funds from the Federal Department of Education

The UCC community has received with great enthusiasm the news of the approval of funds from the Federal Department of Education (Title V, parts A and B), in the amount of $7 million.
